Wildlife and landscape shots taken near the Pacific coastal village of Poémape (or Puémape) in La Libertad in northern Peru. The coast of Peru in general is a long thin strip of desert that separates the beach from the western foothills of the Andes and the flora and fauna found there reflects that.. It's hard to know where the beach ends and the desert starts but there's narrow strip of sand dunes with desert vegetation that marks the transition and here and just on either side of here are some interesting wildlife inhabitants. See blog post for more information on this visit.
